A Hadith
“Performing Umrah in Ramadan is like accompanying me on Hajj (in terms of reward)”. According to Ibn e Abbas once Prophet SAW inspects a woman from Madinah: “what stops you from emplaning on the Hajj pilgrimage with us?” She replied: “We had two camels out of which my husband took one and the other was left for rest of us to ride on”. Prophet SAW told her: “When the month of Ramadan came, go for Umrah because ‘Umrah in Ramadan is like accompanying me on Hajj”. Allah SWT shower countless blessings on one who perform it with pure intention and only for the sake of Allah, although Umrah in Ramadan is not mandatory but due to its uncountable blessings, no one wants to miss this spiritual opportunity to remove his sins or ask forgiveness to Allah. Prophet SAW said:
